The Association for the Anthroposophical YouthSection in Australia
What is the Association for YSA?
The Association for YSA was set up in March 2006 to help the YSA
community to carry out its activites. Essentially the Association is
able to hold an Australian Business Number and manage a bank account
for the YSA to use.
The Association for YSA is what's called an unincorporated associaton,
which essentially means that we are a group of people working under our
own rules for the betterment of some community.
The activities the Association is currently looking after are:
- Assisting with YSA conferences and/or other conferences at the request of the community.
- Facilitating communication, mentorship and occasionally funds, between young people and the Friends of the YSA.
- Keeping a register of the Friends of YSA and their contributions, whether they be financial or otherwise
- Publishing the YSA newsletter to young people and Friends of YSA.
- Maintaining this website and other promotional material such as flyers or brochures to help put the word out about YSA and its activities.
The Association is Not:
- The Youthsection in Australia
- A funding body
- A spiritual, ideological or community leadership group
Do I have to join the association to be a part of the YSA?
No. There is no 'membership' of the YSA community. The association's members will generally only be those people who are involved in the activities listed above. The idea is to keep the association as small as possible.
Who are the members?
The current members are:
- Bryan King (public officer)
- Raphaela Mazzone (secretary)
- Evan Sanders (treasurer)
How do I contact the Association members or get more infomation?
All of the association's members can be contacted by emailing association.ysa@gmail.com
